I came to Veterinary Park Potomac when my senior female dog was experiencing Urinary Incontinence. My regular vet could not see her on this particular Friday before a holiday weekend. I called 5 other vets/urgent care centers who could also not fit her into their schedule for 5-6 weeks. Veterinary Park Potomac saw my dog that day. The employees at the front desk were so kind and understood my concern to have my dog seen on a Friday. Dr Katie was amazing! She reassured me and explained the course of treatment. All the employees gave my dog so much genuine love while we were there. It is obvious that they truly love animals. The office is clean, bright and beautiful. And there are sofas in each room that are pet-friendly! My dog LOVED being able to sit on the sofa with me, as she usually gets nervous at the vet. There is always plenty of parking right in front. I won't go anywhere else! The entire staff is so delightful and knowledgeable and truly love what they do! It is a JOY and a privilege to have my dog's health followed by such amazing professionals!

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new vet for my senior (12yo) dog. I went for her annual check up earlier this year and it was lovely. I felt very heard and received lots of useful suggestions for her treatment going forward. I've also had a couple of emergencies the past few months and the team has been SO helpful - getting us in where possible or directing us where to go as needed. My pup gets anxious at the vet and they have always accommodated her needs and even helped me get her on a medication plan for her future vet visits. I think I have worked with every vet so far and they were all wonderful. Really grateful I chose this office when we moved!

Our initial visit for our one year old puppy was nothing short of perfect. All of the staff from reception, techs and Dr. Katie were sweet, on-time, thorough and helpful. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and are thrilled to have such a wonderful team for our little guy.

When I went to take my cute little multi poo for vaccinations for the first time at Park POTOMAC Veterinary I was beyond pleasantly surprised how welcoming and caring they were for my puppy. They couldn’t have been more friendly and loving than I’ve ever encountered before. They were by far the best vet I ever encountered!!

From check in to check out, I found that everyone I had the pleasure of dealing with were very professional! Everyone makes you feel like your pet is in great hands. The team of doctors are thorough and informative. The doctor I've worked with the most, Dr. Kara, has a bedside manner second to none. This practice makes you feel like family and I'd highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you Veterinary Park Potomac!

We had such a great experience at Veterinary Park Potomac! The whole staff was incredibly kind, patient, compassionate, and thorough, and they made my anxious dog feel so comfortable and at ease. We saw Dr. Monica Calderon, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She was wonderful with him and took the time to make sure he felt safe and comfortable. I’m so grateful we found them and would highly recommend Veterinary Park Potomac to anyone looking for a wonderful, caring vet!

My beloved Stevie whom I recently taken custody of wasn’t feeling well . I noticed a small cyst on his backside within min it had swallow up. Like any pet mom I sprung into action . Doctor Katie had come highly recommended , when I called they were near closing when I stated my dog was in pain they quickly said “ bring him in” turned out he needed emergency surgery . Doctor Katie and her wonderful staff went above and beyond the call of duty.. Stevie is now well and happy. What I loved most is after surgery he wasn’t half sleep and lethargic . Doctor Katie administered the perfect amount of anesthesia. I could not be happier with Potomac animal service . If you’re looking for quality service , friendly staff and loving hearts. My fur babies and I are new to this practice and couldn’t be more pleased! From my first call they’ve exceeded expectations in every way. One of my dogs is a new rescue with some challenging behaviors. The front desk, techs and vet knew what to do and took extra steps to make it a good experience.
