We rely on our in-house lab to tell us what’s going on beneath the surface, then we can diagnose and treating your pets’ medical conditions. Our treatment plan to keep your pet well.
We recommend pet microchipping as an effective way to identify your pet and increase the chances of reuniting with them if they get lost. The procedure involves injecting a small microchip, about the size of a grain of rice, under your pet’s skin, typically between the shoulder blades. This chip contains a unique identification number that can be scanned by vets, shelters, and animal control facilities.
Cold laser therapy allows for the pain-free and non-invasive treatment of your beloved companion. The main clinical benefits of laser use in pets include decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and improved wound healing.
Planning a trip with your pet? There’s a lot of preparation to be made for your pet’s travel—and that goes beyond getting them an airline-approved crate! Most destinations have very specific requirements before they allow an animal in. Without a proper health certificate, your pet could be denied entry and/or quarantined upon your arrival. At Veterinary Park Potomac, we can help you get the cat and/or dog travel health certificate you need to reach your travel destination hassle-free. Our doctors are USDA accredited and licensed for both Domestic and International Health Certificates.
